Hello! I'm Vera, a Portuguese girl born and currently living in Lisbon. Daughter of electrical engineers that were passionate for travel and get in contact with the most varied cultures, I see in them my aim for exploring the unknown and the interest for electronic and digital systems and I am so grateful for the fact that, from an early age, they provided me with a camera to explore the production of image.

I have started my academic journey with the Sound and Image Bachelor at the Superior School of Arts and Design and concluded it with the Master's Degree in Multimedia Art at the Faculty of Fine Art of the University of Lisbon. From the composing of my thesis I’ve acquired a special interest for the research and conceptualization of the art and it’s potential in the audiovisual production. On this website portfolio I have decided to present my most recent work focused on the path I want to take with production of image, however I have carried out other photography and video projects, including real estate, product, festival coverage, short films and video documentary. I have also worked as a camera and lighting assistant on the feature film “Interdit aux Chien et aux Italien” produced in Valence, France.

In the last 2 years my professional path has mainly taken place with audiovisual production companies servicing for international brands in the department of ​​Production, Location-Researcher and Location-Scouter, as well as in covering the Behind the Scenes photography during the shooting of commercials. Some of the clients for which this services were provided include: Netflix, Skoda, Tracfone, Adidas, Lexus, Vodafone, Booking, Direct Line, Universal Pictures, Facebook, between many others.
